Keith Simpson has condemned the selling of their stories by military captured by Iran as "tacky and disappointing", especially as this all happened on the same day four British personnel were killed in Basra.
Mr Simpson said: "There may be specifics of this story that should not be put in the public domain for reasons of intelligence and security.
"The personnel who were captured and went through mock executions two years ago never had the choice of selling their stories, and all this happened on the same day four British personnel were killed in Basra. It all seems tacky and disappointing."
