Opening of Postwick with Witton Sustainable Village Hall Project

Keith Simpson MP officially opened the Postwick sustainable energy project on May 6th.
A wind turbine has been built and a ground source heat pump installed under the village sports pitch to provide power and heat for the village hall.
The community established a green group two years ago and launched the sustainable energy project with grants from the Community Sustainable Energy Programme, the Low Carbon Buildings Programme, the Broads Authority and Norfolk Community Foundation as well as support from local residents and businesses.
